HaPina shel Hayim

Average price: 40 NIS
Address: 33 Basel st.

Hapina shel Haim (Haim's Corner) is by definition a local home cooked food restaurant. Fortunately, it's a bit more than that, as Haim offers great flavorsome dishes which are all worth a try, even though it's a bit more expensive than other local eateries (well, Basel street is also not a slum area either).

All main dishes are served with two side dishes of choice. We ate beef meatballs which were absolutely amazing, with great white rice (it's not that easy to make rice that good) and beans.
It's a good place to have your lunch, after window shopping on Dizengoff. After eating at Haim's you can enjoy the great ice-cream of Vaniglia nearby, or sit in one of the many crowded cafes in this area.

How to get there
Basel st. is located in the north of Dizengoff and connects all the way down to Iben Gvirol. You can reach it by going north on Dizengoff and then taking right to Basel; or by walking on Iben Gvirol - Basel st. is across of Bahadonas Hummus.
